CAMP Breathehab

an online respiratory muscle training intensive for clinicians

May 1 - 31, 2025

Build your RMT expertise without the device sales pitch

CAMP Breathehab is a month-long, online intensive for healthcare providers who want to incorporate RMT into their patient care, taught by fellow clinician, Brooke Richardson.  You'll get 9.5 hours of in-depth training and mentoring about:

  • the evidence and physiology behind both expiratory and inspiratory muscle training
  • how to apply RMT in a variety of patient populations and care settings
  • assessment, documentation, goal-setting, and treatment how-tos
  • how to start an RMT program and select devices

CAMPs are Clinical Applications Mentoring Programs where you get the benefits of mentoring and the convenience of self-paced learning. Case studies and practical application are incorporated throughout the four self-paced modules and two group mentoring calls so that you can put your new RMT knowledge to work immediately.

The next CAMP Breathehab is May 1-31, 2025! Don’t miss out—CAMPs are only held 1-2 times per year.

What clinicians say about our courses

Brooke's course can benefit beginner and advanced RMST providers. She incorporates real patient scenarios and encourages attendees to critically think through decision making. This RMT course arms you with articles and tangible resources that obviously took Brooke hundreds of hours to develop.

-C.W., Speech pathologist

The value of the course far exceeds its cost. I cannot emphasize enough how beneficial this course has been for my practice.

One of my most rewarding experiences post-course involved a young adult with a spinal cord injury. Despite doubts from some medical professionals regarding his ability to ever wean from the ventilator, I used the knowledge from Brooke’s course to advocate for a weaning plan. Through dedicated efforts, we successfully weaned him from the ventilator and ultimately achieved decannulation. This transformative outcome has empowered the patient to return home with his family and start his new life.

-K.C., Speech pathologist

Brooke does a wonderful job of explaining the utility of RMT in many different clinical contexts (including acute care) and organized the course well, citing the research and providing some very practical information on how to modify practice patterns to suit a certain clinical scenario.

-L.B., Speech pathologist
