Courses, blogs, textbooks, podcasts, and CEU subscriptions are great. But they don't cover everything.
Those things don't help you...
... the Breathehab Clinician Support Hub does.
Breathehab Founder, Instructor, & Speech-Language Pathologist
Brooke has been a medical speech-language pathologist since 2009. As a clinical SLP with extensive knowledge in RMT and success with program development, Brooke is your trusted guide in:
Thank you for trusting me as your no-nonsense, no-judgment mentor! I look forward to being the mentor you can call on when Google doesn't have the answers and when online forums are feeling unfriendly.
Brooke created the Clinician Support Hub for three main reasons:
Library: Anyone interested in RMT & rehabilitation, including SLP, OT, PT, RT and related fields. Students are welcome.
All-access: Practicing clinicians including SLP, OT, PT, RT and related fields. Students may not subscribe to the all-access plan.
You may not join if you are:
- a consumer / patient
- affiliated in any way with a device company or distributor of RMT devices
- an owner of, or creating education, for any non-Breathehab company (eg device companies, CE providers, etc)
- hoping to use this service across multiple people (individual subscriptions are required).
It's simple and fast!
All members get immediate access to the microlearning Library. The always-growing library allows us to learn from each other's questions.
All-access members can submit questions. The video and/or written responses to questions are posted to the library on a monthly basis, along with any relevant resources and downloads. You also get access to the private clinician community, where you and peers can bounce ideas off each other.
The Support Hub provides continued support to clinicians with at least a basic understanding of RMT concepts. Courses are available for enrollment separately. Please see all of our current courses here.
Our support program provides insights that go beyond what can be learned in a classroom or course; the goal is to help clinicians bridge the gap between theory and practice, and to help you get unstuck with tricky cases.
This service doesn't replace coursework, and clinicians using the Support Hub are expected to have at least foundational knowledge in the field. We may occasionally recommend courses in our responses if we feel you could use additional, formal education in a topic area.
No, though you're strongly encouraged to take one of our comprehensive courses especially if you join the all-access plan. We've found that everyone is more successful when we all have the same foundational knowledge and background.
Please send us an email if you want more guidance!
Absolutely! You can ask questions at any time that’s convenient for you.
We review and respond to questions on a monthly basis, aiming to answer as many as possible. Even if a specific question isn’t addressed directly, our responses to common and impactful questions are added to the microlearning Library for ongoing reference.
Responses are always kind, practical and professional. To accommodate different learning styles, responses are provided in both audio/video and written form when appropriate. Some responses may include a resource such as a download, and additional references are provided when indicated.
Questions not answered each month will remain in the queue. We focus on prioritizing the most common and impactful queries, and these may be added to the library for broader benefit.
The Breathehab Clinician Support Hub is designed for flexible, asynchronous learning & support.
If you need immediate assistance, we recommend first browsing the library, where you'll find quick, practical answers to many common clinical questions. The library is continually updated with new content based on user queries.
For one-on-one, timely guidance, you may book a private consultation with Brooke.
It's a breeze! You simply ask through your dashboard. The ability to ask questions is included in the all-access plan.
We aim to provide comprehensive support, though some questions may be less likely to receive direct responses. These include:
Yes! Please note that this is for personal use; you may not submit questions asked of you by students, or ask questions on their behalf.
No. The Breathehab Clinician Support Hub is designed to provide affordable, high-quality mentoring for every member we serve. Due to the nature of our mentoring relationship, we can only accept a limited number of members at one time. Members may not share account access with, or ask questions on behalf of, other clinicians.
Nope! The beauty of asynchronous mentoring is that you can ask your question any time, and it'll be answered by a mentor at the next opportunity. Plus, our community welcomes clinicians from around the world. It doesn’t get more convenient than that!
The privacy and security of patients and clients is paramount. You may not ask questions containing any identifying information (PHI).
No. This service is offered for educational purposes only for clinicians; your expertise and licensure are key. As noted above, this program does not replace comprehensive education or your clinical judgment. When you use our program, you agree to all terms and conditions.
