Founder of Breathehab | Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT) expert
Brooke is an experienced educator and internationally-recognized expert in respiratory muscle training (RMT), with a professional background in speech-language pathology and over 16 years of work in medical settings. She created this program to make practical, evidence-informed RMT accessible to a wide range of professionals and individuals -- whether you're in healthcare, fitness, or simply looking to breathe better.
Since 2016, Brooke has taught thousands of professionals across the globe how to apply safe, effective RMT principles in real-world settings. Her work draws from both a deep understanding of research and her direct clinical experience, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When she's not working, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, drinking coffee, and dreaming of her next travel destination.
Thank you for trusting me as your no-nonsense, no-judgment guide! I look forward to being the expert you can call on when Google doesn't have the answers and when online forums are feeling unfriendly.
It's simple and quick!
You get immediate access to the microlearning library. The always-growing library allows us to learn from each other's questions.
You help to shape your own learning experience when you submit questions. The video and/or written responses to questions are added to the library at least monthly.
Any professionals interested in providing high-quality respiratory muscle training. This is a quick-learning program, so it's not the place for basic questions (like "how do I do aphasia therapy") or in-depth topics that are covered in comprehensive courses.
Breathehab in Minutes provides insights that complement what can be learned in a classroom or course. The goal is to help you bridge the gap between theory and practice.
Our microlearning program doesn't replace coursework, and professionals using this service are expected to have at least foundational knowledge in the field. We may occasionally recommend courses in our responses if we feel you could use additional, formal education in a topic area.
Absolutely! You can ask questions at any time that’s convenient for you. We review and respond to questions on a monthly basis, aiming to answer as many as possible and based on the needs of the community. Even if a specific question isn’t addressed directly, our responses to common and impactful questions are added to the microlearning library for ongoing reference.
Responses are always kind and practical. To accommodate different learning styles, responses are provided in both audio/video and written form when appropriate. Some responses may include a resource such as a download, and additional resources are provided when indicated.
Questions not answered each month will remain in the queue. We focus on prioritizing the most common and impactful queries, and these may be added to the library for broader benefit.
Breathehab in Minutes is designed for flexible, asynchronous learning. If you need immediate assistance, we recommend browsing the library, where you'll find quick, practical answers to many common questions. The library is continually updated with new content based on user queries.
For personalized, timely guidance, you may book a private consultation with Brooke.
It's a breeze! You simply submit through your dashboard. Your name is only visible to Brooke in case she needs to contact you. You're anonymous to everyone else, so you can ask questions without fear.
We strive to provide expert support for a community of people. Some questions may be less likely to receive direct responses. These include:
No. This is designed to provide affordable, high-quality learning for every member we serve. Due to the nature of our program, we can only accept a limited number of members at one time. Members may not share account access with, or ask questions on behalf of, other people.
Nope! The beauty of asynchronous office hours is that you can ask your question any time, and it'll be answered by an expert at the next opportunity. It doesn’t get more convenient than that!
The privacy and security of patients and clients is paramount. You may not ask questions containing any identifying information (PHI).
